10. Utah: While there are legitimate excuses for how Utah's season has gone, the loss at Washington State, even without QB Travis Wilson (http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/531051/travis-wilson), delivered a resounding thud to Year 3 in the Pac-12. The Utes are 1-7 in conference play. A loss at home to Colorado on Saturday would make coach Kyle Whittingham's seat hot heading into 2014.

Pac-12 schedule

Friday games:

WSU @ UW - revenge for the Huskies. Really hoping that UW is BYU's bowl opponent.
OSU @ Oregon - OSU backs into a bowl game. Shoulda been us.

Sat games:

CU @ Utah - can we win a game comfortably? Can we even win a game?
ND @ Stanford
UCLA @ USC - Hire Orgeron! Please!
Zona @ ASU

Pulling strongly for Notre Dame and Arizona out of bitterness. Would love to see both ASU and Stanford embarrass themselves heading into the conference title game.

I think we'll see a major upset or two this weekend. I'll go out on a limb and say that either Ohio State or Bama loses this weekend.

Three players tossed from Michigan/ OSU. Urban's boys look like they are in for a big time fight today.

Michigan blows it by going for 2 instead of kicking the pat to tie it up. Brady Hoke - hahaha!!!!

I guess they can't say he doesn't play to win the game.

They definitely can't say that. It was a great game. The iron bowl is looking physical and fun early on.

Auburn. Come on. Really mess things up for the bcs by winning this thing today.

Auburn pushing Alabama and tcu keeping closer than Baylor would like. I want to see an upset today.

I think Alabama's two kickers need to go into the witness protection program.

Brady Hoke says he asked the seniors whether they wanted to go for 2 or kick the field goal.

LOL! Seriously. Be a coach. I can only imagine what the message boards for Michigan look like.

Last game of the season, can't hold anything back*

The SEC Championship game features two teams who had a combined 2-14 record in SEC play last year. The turnaround at both Auburn and Mizzou has been exciting to witness this year.

And Auburn's success in particular shows the wisdom of cleaning house in the offseason to replace underperforming coaches. Dr. Hill should think about that one. Just sayin'...

Wisconsin loses to Penn State, blows shot at another Rose Bowl.

First time in a while that the Badgers don't get to double digit wins in the regular season. I wonder how the Badger fans feel about Gary Anderson right now. I imagine they are still optimistic. But another 8-9 win season next year, and folks will start complaining.

Meanwhile, Bret Bielema finishes 3-9 at Arkansas. After three straight Rose Bowls, he may not see another bowl game for a long time.

This was a great win for Penn State.
Even during the end of the Paterno era, Penn State rarely won tough games on the road (2008's win at OSU notwithstanding).
