This is great news now matter how you look at it. Whether Kendal Thompson comes in and steals the starting job (doubtful, I think) or Travis remains the starter we still have excellent PAC-12 quality depth at QB. What a relief that will be.

I get to eat some crow and tell Diehard Ute he was right and I was wrong. I was pretty certain last November that Wilson would never play again, and Diehard Ute castigated me. Glad he was right and I wasn't.

Now as long as he keeps his throwing had from getting beat up things are definitely looking more positive for our QB situation.

This is great news, both for Utah and for Travis. It will be interesting to see if this scare has an effect on Travis' psyche - for all of his flaws, he takes a lot of hits that he sees coming.

I think the Utes go as far as Travis can carry them.

I'm glad I was too (I never knew that he would return, but I knew for a fact all the reports that he was done or had no chance were baseless)

He had some of the best neurosurgeons in the country taking care of him. He's in good hands.

I don't know about 8, but I think he's the difference between 5 wins and 7 wins.

Man, socal, your unabashed optimism is overflowing today. I couldn't disagree more, but I hope you are right!
