Surprised no one has started a thread for this one. 34-26 right now for the Utes, who've been hotter today than any game all year. I guess it's their turn.

He deserves this on Senior day. He has stayed through thick and thin. I hope his 2nd half goes as well as his first. I am impressed that this team is still playing hard. Go Utes!

First winning steak in conference play. We are learning to play out in front a little better. I am curious to see who we draw in the tournament.

It's not set yet. If USC loses (to WSU) and ASU beats Arizona, then we would play USC. USC and ASU are both 9-8, and Stanford and UW are both 9-9. I don't know hoe the tiebreakers will work out with all the potential 9-9 teams.

I'll take a stab at this.

If ASU and USC both win, Utah will play USC because ASU went 1-1 against Oregon and Cal, but USC went 0-3 against them.

If USC wins and ASU loses (which is probably the most likely outcome), Utah will play Washington because UW went 2-0 against Stanford and ASU. Stanford would the the 8 seed and ASU would be 9.

If USC and ASU both lose, we would play USC. Washington (3-1 against the 9-9 teams) would be the 6 seed, USC (4-2 against the 9-9 teams) would be the 7 seed, and Standford and ASU would be 8 and 9, although I'm not sure which would be which and it doesn't impact us so I'm not looking.

If ASU wins and USC loses, we would play USC, who went 3-0 against UW and Stanford.

Bottom line, if USC wins and ASU loses, we play UW. If anything else happens, we play USC.

I really don't think it matters who the Utes play in the first round of the conference tournament. They may match up with one team better than the others, but the reality is that getting to the 2nd day of the tournament will be a huge task.

That said, this was a nice win today. And while the team still had a losing season, the fact that they more than doubled their win total from last year (overall, not conference) tells me that Larry has them headed in the right direction.

Great job Utes!!! I have been working all day and just checked the score. I have it dvr'ed at home so I will watch tonight. Awesome way to end the regular season. Hopefully we can win at least one in the tournament next week.

Just got home, what a great game!!! The crowd was into right from the start; I believe C Martin said on the radio that the team inspired the crowd from the start and he was spot on!! Great crowd!!!!!!!!

The Utes have confidence heading into the P12 tourney with nothing to lose, I believe there will some nervous coaches out there!!
