I just figured out where all the old people playing slots in Wendover cone from. I am in the Redmond, OR airport (which is tiny) and it is packed with them waiting for an Allegiant flight to Wendover. Largest jet I have even seen here, unlike my weekly Skywest flight on a CRJ-700.

Why would they fly to Wendover? Is it cheaper than Vegas or Reno?

No idea. It seemed weird to me. Maybe the casinos in Wendover charter the plane or something?
