Utah vs. UCLA

Down 2-0 after the 2nd. Watrous gave up 3 straight hits and a sac fly to start the game. Perfect since. Utah with only 1 hit. Anderson was stranded at 2nd. I need to look it up, but I would have to assume that our avg with risp is less than .200 on the season.

Anderson with a 2 run home run in the top of the 3rd to even the score at 2-2.

Lost 5-2. We had nine hits, they had nine hits. We gave up 2 unearned runs. We are tantalizingly close. We just need to figure out how to break through at the plate, and in the field.

Yesterday's game ended with a 5-4 loss. We outhit them by 2, but another unearned run was the difference.

Tied 1-1 after 4. Banks is looking much more like the pitcher that he was earlier in the season. He has retired 7 in a row.

Tied 3-3 after 6. We scored 2 in the top half but gave up 2 in the bottom half.

The team came into LAX Thursday on the plane we took out to SLC for graduation. They looked very young.

So I forgot to post the finish. We lost 4-3 by a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 9th. We got swept in the series with the following scores 5-2, 5-4, 4-3. So close, but so far away. I feel for the team. They are on a 9 game losing streak and the worst loss was 9-3(to BYu in Provo).
